Recently, we had a chance to sit down with Steven Sashen, CEO of Xero Shoes, an eCommerce retailer who uses ViaBill as part of its payment system. Here’s what he had to say about the experience working with ViaBill so far.

Why did you choose to integrate ViaBill as a payment option?

We chose ViaBill for a couple of reasons.
First, we wanted a deferred multi-payment option that did not have a bunch of technical glitches. We had tried a couple of other options that had a bunch of technical problems. ViaBill did not have those problems and the ViaBill team has been very responsive.
Second, ViaBill’s cost was really important. I’m a longtime internet marketer, and if I spend more I want to make sure I’m making more. From my previous experience, I knew a deferred multi-payment plan was valuable. You just need to ensure that the cost-benefit analysis makes sense for all parties, and it does with ViaBill.

Why did you choose ViaBill over other options?

ViaBill’s pricing match and lack of technical issues were a big reason.
Also, our previous deferred multi-payment options only worked for US domestic customers. ViaBill is international, so having an option that was more global was important to us.

What has been the feedback from customers?

We’ve gotten very little feedback, and that is a good thing. By and large, people are happy to have a deferred payment option.

How easy was it to integrate with ViaBill with your current e-commerce platform?

It has been pretty painless and seamless to integrate ViaBill into Xero Shoes. ViaBill seamlessly integrates into the checkout flow of the website. Read this page to know more about the benefits of its integration.

What has it been like to work with the ViaBill team? 

Working with ViaBill has been good. We tend to be pretty thorough and discover technical bugs and issues that no one has noticed, but when we found any technical problems they were resolved quickly.
